Bid Bot was co-founded by brothers Alex Castle (“Bid”) and Will Castle (“Bot”) and is a specialist data-driven bid consultancy. We have created ruling-based systems coupled with AI to automate content and analyse bid responses to improve the quality and speed of bid responses. Alex our in-house bid expert and co-founder has over 6 years of experience as a bid coordinator, bid writer, bid lead and sales lead. This experience has seen him work on bids across industries including engineering, construction, and technology, with sectors covering education, healthcare, finance, residential, central government, local councils and more. Alex has successfully won bids ranging from £50k to £10m+ across all the above industries and sectors. This demonstrates his bid analysis approach is agnostic to any industry, sector or size of the bid.
How to work with us?
We have designed a revolutionary process to help you leverage our in-house technology and bid expertise. This step-by-step approach integrates our unique bid response data analysis into your bid process, ensuring continuous improvement, to build your in-house knowledge and will help to maximise your chances of success. You can use our consultancy services where we harness our in-house technology, or you can use the platform yourself. We will be on hand to help you learn how to use the platform, which will allow you to save on consultancy fees.
1. Understand:
We begin by working closely with you to review samples of your previous bid submissions; we can skip this stage and jump into live bids if requested. Using our in-house technology, we will analyse each submission and provide key areas for improvement, if any exist! This initial analysis gives us a foundation for understanding where you are in terms of bid response quality and how we can help not only uplift your existing content but also how we can best assist on your next bid.
2. Create:
The insights gained from analysing your past submissions, will be used as a benchmark for future responses. This powerful tool incorporates key ingredients we have developed over years of successful bidding to create a draft in just 30 seconds. In theory, we can generate ten responses with content tailored to the customer and question requirements in just 5 minutes. If you would rather use your own content, we would skip the create step.
3. Analyse:
You will receive scores and suggestions on how to improve your responses against the question and customer requirements, key bidding ingredients, content frameworks such as the WHAT, HOW, WHY and OUTCOME of your bid response and role personas. The personas will represent various roles within your team, stakeholders, and the buyer’s marking team.
4. Learn:
Once you apply our processes to a live bid, you should see an instant improvement in your bid quality submissions. You will also gain invaluable insight into how data-driven analysis can enhance future bids for you and your subject matter experts with role persona analysis.
